My heart says drink the coolade. I want to believe this team is different, they've looked really good at times especially in the 2nd half of games. My heart says kentucky my head says No, because it's so hard to beat another team 5 years in a row.

UK:24
USC:28

I think Kentucky wins by 14 points......maybe 28 to 14

I still have serious doubts about the QB and his ability to hit the open receiver on the long ball.

I do have faith in Benny Snell.

I do have faith in the defense.

It took a long time, but it appears that this is a defensive team. I expected this, when they hired Stoops, but I expected it a lot sooner. Better late than never. I am a very happy Wildcat fan this season.

Should be a great day for the game. This will be the largest crowd in a while, soldout! The sound will be deafening. I probably won't get in any of the camera shots but I'm standing about 8 feet to the right of the student who comes topless with "Benny Snell for Heisman" on his front side and 12-0 on his back. Kentucky's run defense is excellent. Kentucky's pass defense is an odd combination of zone and man coverage that has been exploited successfully in each game. If SC has the right plan, the game could be our first loss.

I think the key is our running game. If we can run the ball for long drives and keep the defense fresh all game, we should win. I see no reason why we can't continue to do just that.

UK 42
USC 17

Did you mean to say 32 times in a row? If so, I agree. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

What a defensive performance. We never pressured the QB all night and still held their passing game in check. Unreal! Then our DB had great coverage on USC's only touchdown - he just made a boneheaded move when the ball got there. USC was lucky to get that TD last night - final score should read 24-3.

Good win. 2nd half offense was a little worrisome.

Coach Gran channeled his Dean Smith ghost and went to the 4 corner stall offense. I was concerned that trying not to lose was going to cost us, but this defense is for real. Go Big Blue!!!

I felt they played the second half not to lose rather than win all four quarters. They have much better talent than South Carolina and should have played the second half like they did the first half, in my opinion. It was a great team win however, this team appear to be for real, good defense, good offense and good special teams.

Did any y'all catch muschumps face when he shook hands with coach Stoops? It was like he couldn't believe that USC lost to UK.
