“I think we’ll go do the best we can to go find a bowl that will fit hopefully what we’ve accomplished,” Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart told Jennifer Smith of the Herald-Leader after the Cats’ 41-38 upset win at No. 11 Louisville on Saturday. “I think that will be something our fan base can jump on board and be a part of. I’m excited about that.”

Matt Jones hinted this afternoon that KY wasn't going to be in Nashville!

He may be hinting elsewhere but I don't see us replacing an SEC team in one of these bowls below. But if it was I think it would have to be the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. We almost beat Georgia and the folks down there might want to see us play there.

2 Jan Sugar Bowl New Orleans LSU
Cotton Bowl Dallas Ft W A&M
Outback Tampa FLA

31 Dec Tax Slayer Jacksonville TENN
Citrus Bowl Orlando GEOR
Orange Bowl Miami AUB

Word is that if Alabama beats Florida, Kentucky is the first choice for the Taxslayer Bowl (Formerly the Gator Bowl) in Jacksonville, FL.
