Yes, we have a good shot to go bowling. But it's almost as good a shot that we won't. I thought we had won the game yesterday 2 times but I had also thought we had blown a win 2 times also. Thru bad luck and some plays that we weren't ready for we made it a close game. We have a chance to win 3 more games if we can keep our heads in the game, but we also have a chance to win only 1 game if we don't play every play.Johnson had his A game yesterday both run and pass. And we have a couple of running backs that can gain some yards when Boom keeps his head up when he's running. And Snell is the real deal. Jojo is not going to get many reps if these two are on their game. We should beat MO, GA and AP for 7 wins, but we'll have to wait and see how lady luck treats us. The crowd was great yesterday when the team needed it.

It was reported that Jojo was put in a cast, so he prob wont see any reps for awhile.
What struck me the most was that the QB lost his confidence in the first half and they some how gave him a shot of confidence in the second half.
They just need to win and hope that the injury bug is done with them for the rest of the season. I don't care if it by one point or a bunch, as long as they get to 6 wins. Would prefer to see them jump out on Missouri and stay in front so it isn't so nerve racking. But, if that ends up being close and they win, it will still be sweet.

They certainly should beat Missouri, they are not a very good team at all. They have a 2 and 5 record and are probably the weakest team in the SEC. Six wins is very reachable and they could end up winning a total of 7 depending on which team shows up and how they perform on the field.

My ESPN app shows us as a 5.5 point dog. I suspect it's probably because the game is at their house?

I would have to agree. So far we haven't shown we are that great a team. And the game is on their field. Pretty natural to see them as the favorite.

Missouri lost two starters on defense, for the rest of the season, a LB and DE. Maybe the running game will be harder to stop. [ 10-26-2016, 10:44 AM: Message edited by: boomdaddy ]

I just checked Las Vegas Insider and they show Missouri giving our Cats 4 and a half points, that really suprises me, Missouri are not a good team at all. That means the betters have little to no confidence in our Cats I guess.

We could be 3-4 right now instead of 4-3 if that field goal had fallen short from 51 yards. We have beaten SC, VD and MS St which isn't saying much. We have lost to AL and FL. We have MO, GA and TN coming up. If we were playing MO here I'm sure we would be a 2 or 3 pt. favorite. We would have to beat one of them before we can climb in SEC status and become a favorite on the road.

I hope we remain the underdog. That will give the coaches some fuel to motivate them. They can use the Rodney Dangerfield line about getting no respect. The players hopefully understand that this is a ticket punched to a bowl game if they win. Shouldn't need any extra motivation, but being an underdog may help. Go Big Blue!

We have a "outside" shot of winning 3 of the final 5 games left on the schedule.

Absolutely. It just depends on how bad they want to win. We could lose 4 of the final 5 games if they don't play to win.
