Quality D linemen are the hardest position to fill, especially if you play in the SEC. A team rarely finds one that is ready to play his freshman year. They have to be brought along, nurtured and developed. The juco route is tough as well, because the top D1 teams are trying to fill gaps at the same position.

If I were a head coach, I would be trying my best to get 2 quality juco DL a year. But, I wouldn't take them if I didn't think they could play right away.
