Quarterback Stephen Johnson of College of the Desert signed with Kentucky Saturday and will be on campus this week.
He passed for 3,210 yards, 34 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 10 games for the Roadrunners last season.
Johnson took an official visit to Lexington on Jan. 14 and flew back to California on Friday with new UK offensive coordinator Eddie Gran.
However, Johnson was quickly sold on Johnson and now he gives Eddie Gran and Darrin Hinshaw a needed quarterback to compete with Drew Barker.

Yep, Johnson will get plenty of reps. He has a opportunity and it's up to him on how he does.

No doubt, with his age, hopefully he'll bring maturity to the field as well!
