During his first four-year coaching stint at Louisville, Bobby Petrino went 4-0 against Kentucky.
When he went to Arkansas, Kentucky and coach Rich Brooks finally beat him 21-20 in 2008. Of course, Petrino repaid UK when he got to Western Kentucky by beating the Cats 35-26 in Mark Stoops’ first game. He beat Kentucky again last year after returning to Louisville.
That makes him 6-1 against Kentucky going into Saturday’s game at Commonwealth Stadium.
“I really don't think about that. Each team's different. It's about the players. It's not like my record. It's the players who played here and the guys who played in the game,” Petrino said. “I've been fortunate enough to coach some of the great players who have played here and competed here and found ways to win with that team.

This is the year to beat them for sure. They are as weak as they've ever been under him, but then again it is UK he's playing. It sure would nice to get bowl eligible by beating the Tards.

A coach with a plan vs. a coach without a plan is what you just saw. Also, a coach who can make adjustments and one that is too blind or stubborn to adjust. All season long you have seen the other team make adjustments at halftime and just come out and kill Kentucky.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Agree, Trey. This staff has yet to make any significant adjustments in any game.

Don't believe any of them should be coaching at this level. If Mitch has the fortitude to fire them they should all be replaced, now.
