I would bet if it looks like he is needed he will play.
Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said linebacker Ryan Flannigan "is close" to being ready to play but not there yet because of his shoulder injury.
“If he doesn’t practice this afternoon, he’ll have a hard time playing this weekend,"Stoops said Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference. "I think he’s very close. We’re going to evaluate him about 1 p.m. today and see where he’s at.
"We’ll see. Hopefully he can play. If not, we’re moving forward with some other guys. It was good to get Jordan Jones back out there — he looked good yesterday — get him healthy and get him moving. So that will help add a little depth for us as well.”
