With the added excitement about Kentucky football since the arrival of coach Mark Stoops, the UK Radio Network will be expanding its game day coverage this season.
Former UK quarterback Freddie Maggard and Christie Thomas will join Tom Leach and Jeff Piecoro two hours prior to each kickoff for an extra 30 minutes of pregame coverage.
The new “Countdown to Kickoff” will air outside of the Nutter Fieldhouse.
"From Cat Talk to the Cat Walk, they will focus on the X’s and O’s of the game and bring a little fun to the pre-game show," the release from UK said.
