Kentucky offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson says his confidence "is high" going into UK's opening game this week.
"I do think there’s a honeymoon period and then there’s a process of playing a game together. So there’s still some unknowns," Dawson said.
"There’s some unknowns with our players and everything that’s going to get ironed out through the course of playing a game. So I told the coaches the other day I’m excited about seeing how our guys are going to compete in the game.
"Obviously games are different than practice and so I think they’ll respond great, to be honest with you. I have the utmost confidence in them. So my confidence is high, but I’m still eager – eager to see who’s going to rise; who’s going to rise whenever the lights are on.”
