We are going to need Flannigan come SEC time, hope he is ready to play by then.
“He’s got a full range of motion. He’s got to get 100 percent strength back in his shoulder before we can let him have contact, so hopefully that’ll happen in the next couple days,” UK coach Mark Stoops said Thursday.
Stoops would not specifically discuss what the shoulder injury is but said no one could tell him if Flannigan will be ready for the season opening.
“We have to wait and see. We got to prepare as if he won’t be there, but he is getting some reps and doing some things,” the UK coach said.
