I agree completely with they have to say. We definitely have a chance at a bowl.
Orlando Sentinel college insider Matt Murschel ranked all 128 Football Bowl Subdivision teams in the country entering the upcoming season. He put Kentucky at No. 75 and sees a bowl bid as a solid possibility. Here's part of the Kentucky preview at www.orlandosentinel.com.
Strengths: Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles has size (6-5, 241), athletic ability and a big arm. All three were on display during a 369-yard, three-touchdown night against the Gators.
The defense is rebuilding up front and has a lot to prove. But linebacker Ryan Flannigan, a junior-college transfer in 2014, had 23 stops during the final two games. Free safety A.J. Stamps had four interceptions last season and possesses tremendous cover skills.

For this upcoming season Kentucky has:
Percentage of Tackles Returning 69.08% is 40th in the nation, 3rd in the SEC.
Percentage of Yards Returning 78.22% is 43rd in the nation, 4th in the SEC.
Offensive line Starts Returning 95 starts is 15th in the nation and 3rd in the SEC.
If we go by those stats, UK should be poised for improvement.

Stoops has had 3 top 40 recruiting classes since he has been at UK too. You add that to the info Boom posted and we should be a much better team this season.

As for getting better talent on the team through better recruiting, just think how far the talent pool had dipped, when WKU had them out manned, just a few seasons ago.

The Western game really was a eye opener and made us all, Kentucky administration included that changes had to be made. We still aren't there yet but we do have a feeling that strides for the better are being made.
