He is going to work his team hard till they get it right.
Kentucky coach Mark Stoops wants to see his defense do more than chant “Bad Boys” like it did at times last year during UK’s 5-7 finish, including six straight losses to end the year, and has during spring practice.
“We got to continue to develop. You can’t talk yourself into those things,” said Stoops after Wednesday’s practice. “You have to be a good unit. You have to play with confidence. You got to go out and execute every day. You can’t just go out and make up something.
“So I’m not really too concerned about that. I’m interested in getting better and being more consistent and trying to become a dominant unit. We’re not there yet. So like I said, I think that comes with confidence and working.”
