Good find Norm, Looks like the Air Raid Offense is coming back to Kentucky. Good hire..
Mark Stoops has his man. The University of Kentucky football coach has made an offer to West Virginia offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson, who is expected to accept the same position with the Wildcats, according to a source familiar with the situation.
An official announcement cannot be made until Friday, per state hiring regulations, but Dawson will carry on the "Air Raid" offense installed the last two seasons by Neal Brown, who left UK after this season to become head coach at Troy. The 37-year-old Dawson worked under former Cats coach Hal Mumme, the godfather of that pass-happy spread attack, at both Southeastern Louisiana in 2003-04 and New Mexico State in 2005.
"He's original Air Raid," the source said of Dawson, adding that it was important for Stoops "to keep continuity and verbiage and not take a step back after the last two years."

What kind of effect does a coordinator with an air raid mind set have on a player like Harris?

It probably means he may not get as many touches but if you think about it Bama always throws the ball a lot too. The thing Bama has is a good line and opens mores holes for their running backs than we probably would which is not a good sign for us.

There is so many things that must be going on in his mind that he still doesn't know where to go. I still keep thinking the longer it takes may be a good omen for us.
