He took a heck of a hit and it may take some time to recover.
Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said Monday that freshman running back Boom Williams, who suffered a head injury at LSU Saturday, has not been cleared to play.
“Things look better, not cleared to play yet, obviously. I’ll wait until the doctors tell me he can get on the field but, I think, yeah, things are looking better,” Stoops said. “When he will be cleared to practice or play I have no idea.”
