He is one big old dude that is going to be a special player for the Cats.
He hasn’t even played a game yet, and we all love Cory Johnson. Cory charmed us with his weight loss secrets (hint: poop), and yesterday, gave reporters another great quote about fellow defensive tackle Matt Elam. Cory compared Elam–or rather, Elam’s stomach–to a wrecking ball.
“When we do pass rushes, he don’t use no moves. Once he throws his stomach forward, it’s hard to get your hands on that thing. You can’t grip a stomach, so he just goes straight through everybody,” Johnson said. “That’s like a wrecking ball, somebody trying to jump in front of that…you can’t stop that.”
