Robinson must have really pooped in his mess kit as he still is in the dog house.
Demarco Robinson, who was suspended for the final two games of last year for violation of unspecified team rules, still has “some additional penalties” that he must go through before playing this season.
“He’s not perfect. Demarco has a lot of work to do in certain areas, but he’s trying and he’s battling and I’ve been proud that he’s really improved in a lot of ways,” Stoops said Thursday before speaking at the Lexington Rotary Club Thursday.
Last season, Robinson was the team’s third-best receiver with 20 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned 11 punts for 114 yards.
