The Kentucky Wildcats appears to be ramping up their recruiting efforts for in-state star JJ Traynor.
According to Evan Daniels, Traynor will take an unofficial visit to UK this fall for Big Blue Madness.
Traynor has scheduled a return visit to Cincinnati on Aug. 29. He’s also scheduled unofficial trips to Louisville and Kentucky. He’ll visit Louisville on Aug. 26 and then Kentucky for their Big Blue Madness festivities on Oct. 18. Traynor said he’s also actively working to set up trips to Missouri and DePaul.
Daniels added that Traynor will be a four-star recruit in the updated 247 Sports recruiting rankings for 2020, which will be released this week.
Traynor, a native of Bardstown, has been one of the fastest-rising prospects in the 2020 class after a breakout spring and summer on the AAU circuit. As a junior at Bardstown High School, thr 6-8, 195-pound Traynor averaged 11.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
