Author Topic: Daishen Nix could visit UK soon catmandoo Player Member # 1284 posted 08-16-2019 07:57 PM                     The recruitment of Daishen Nix hasn’t quite taken off for UK, but things could be heating up very soon. The five-star recruit out of Alaska is viewed as one of, if not the best true point guard prospect in the Class of 2020. And with John Calipari adding a five-star point guard in nearly every class he’s had at UK, it seemed like Nix was UK’s best bet at a floor general in 2020. That may still be true, but Nix still does not have an offer from UK. Might one come if he visits Lexington? Sources close to Nix tell KSR, however, that the five-star guard is still extremely interested in visiting Lexington in the coming weeks in hopes of earning a scholarship offer in person. In fact, if the Kentucky coaching staff will have him, Nix would like to schedule an official visit to the school sooner rather than later. “[Visiting Kentucky] is a point of emphasis, most definitely,” a source close to Nix said. “Coach Cal will be the one to decide the order of things. That’s up to Cal.” Pilgrim adds that UK could jump into the lead for Nix with a scholarship offer, but time is running out. Read an article that basically said he was a liability on the defensive end and couldn’t throw it in the ocean if he was standing on the beach.
