It turns out that JT Thor will only be announcing his list of schools in consideration by the end of the month, according to Corey Evans, who adds that another visit to UK should happen this fall.

The Kentucky Wildcats have a new recruiting target in 2020, sort of.

According to Jake Weingarten, JT Thor has officially reclassified into 2020 and will transfer to Norcross High School in Georgia. In addition, Thor has scheduled a commitment date of August 26th.

Thor added that the schools who’ve been recruiting him include Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, Memphis and Oregon, but for now, no visits are scheduled.

Here's his vitals. Sounds almost like he is getting ready to be #3 for our 2020 class. Everything looks that way to me anyway. Since he has been here twice since last year I am thin king he is coming here to make his announcement that he will be a wildcat.

However, Thor has made two trips to Lexington over the last year. He visited for Big Blue Madness last year, then again this past January, so it’s not like he needs to see UK again before making his decision. He has also taken visits to Kansas, Maryland, Miami and New Mexico in recent months. Thor also has scholarship offers from Florida, LSU, UCLA, Maryland and NC State among others.

The 6-8, 190-pound power forward out of Huntington Prep (WV) was previously ranked No. 8 overall for 2021 in the Rivals rankings."""
