Exit 2019, and on to 2020! I wish all of you a very happy new year's eve. I will be off-line for a couple of days, so let me take this time to share with you my optimism for 2020 for all of us. Each year, the world manages to get a little better, despite the 24-hour discouragement we see on the TV. People live a little longer on average, fewer people live in abject poverty, and the outlook is generally brighter from year-to-year.
More specific to this board, I wish each of you a healthy, prosperous new year. And, I wish that the Cat's bring home number nine.

The title of this post scared me “Out with the Old.” I was afraid you was trying to start a youth movement on this board. Wouldn’t be many left if you did.
Happy New Year to my friends here on the Domain.

I have to face reality. I'll be 85 in April. I still feel reasonably well, but can't hear myself fart. I've been told there are pills for that. Won't help your hearing, but will make you fart louder.

Tip, you never title a post like this one due to the age of many of us TCDers.

Old farts, loud farts, all farts are welcome at TCD. Sorry for the confusion.

To me, it ain't the age that counts, it's the mileage . Kinda like owning a nice, older used car with 20,000 miles...won't do what the newer models do, but will do just fine if you take care of it.

LOL! Personally, I like my farts quiet...easier to blame on the dog.
Oh, late but sincere....Happy New Year! [ 01-02-2020, 12:44 PM: Message edited by: MountainMafia ]
