Sad news out of Auburn this morning. Auburn radio play by play man Rob Bramlett and his wife were killed in a automobile accident. They were sitting at a red light when a sixteenth year old boy hit them. If I was a betting man I'd bet the boy was texting.

I doubt that you would lose that bet. I met a car just last week that was astraddle the center line. I don't mean it was just crossing it, but was right in the middle of the road. Luckily, the road was wide enough that I could get over far enough to miss him/her. Yes, they were looking down at their phone.

Last year my wife was stopped at a red light and some kid rear-ended her at 45 mph. He didn't even attempt to break. Luckily she walked away without a scratch on her, but the car was destroyed. I would bet a cell phone had something to do with it.
