He has done a amazing job recruiting some of the best players in the country.
The commitment of Eli Brown to Kentucky marks the eighth player ranked in the Rivals 250 to choose the Wildcats since Mark Stoops took over as head coach a little more than a year ago.
In the five recruiting classes before Stoops took over the program, safety Glenn Faulkner was the only Rivals 250 player to commit to the Cats.
Here are the eight Rivals 250 commitments under Stoops, along with their overall rankings:
Eli Brown (No. 110 in 2015)
Boom Williams (No. 118 in 2014)
Drew Barker (No. 132 in 2014)
Mikel Horton (No. 150 in 2014)
Marcus McWilson (No. 196 in 2013)
Nick Richardson (No. 217 in 2014)
Darius West (No. 219 in 2014)
Jason Hatcher (No. 221 in 2013)

I just can't get excited about Kentucky football. I am pushing 80, and doubt that I'll ever see a winning team at UK.
