Everybody I know that uses online banking is having trouble accessing it. It's not all the same bank either. I know of one in Bowling Green, one in Jasper, Indiana, and our own. Anyone else having this problem? I suspect the stimulus check deposits have overwhelmed the system.

I must apologize to MM. If he has this problem, it is not because the system is overwhelmed, but it is Trump's fault I'm sure.

Since I'm having no banking problems I can't blame Trump....I'll blame it on Obama instead.

I do very little online banking! I even mail in my mortgage check to the very bank I have both accounts in! They might not take out as much as I'm willing to pay to pay my mortgage down!

I seldom, if ever use a debit card. I carry cash! Always have, always will!

Well, you'll have to admit that a debit card is a lot cleaner than cash. Actually, until this virus came along, I used cash a lot.

All my bills and all my expenses are paid with a debit/credit card. I also have a ledger which every transaction is entered and checked as it is paid by the bank. Anything not in my ledger I question. Works great and I can also mark my donations, milage to dr office and other medical expenses.

If I am ever audited I am ready plus I always know how much money I have!

I use an old-fashioned small-town credit union; been using them for 25 years. Almost no fees, good interest, and they know me. I get great rates. :

But, I hardly write a check anymore. Maybe 2 or 3 a year. And I rarely use cash. EVERYTHING is paid on-line. I have almost everything on auto-pay (water, gas, sewer, electricity, mortgage, insurance, internet, cable... everything. Never once had a problem, and I spend almost ZERO time worrying about bills.
