The media has a habit of taking footage of arenas before the events start, where Trump rallies are being held. The rallies fill up early, but they take footage as early as they can, so they cam lie and say he can't fill a venue. In reality, people are left standing outside.
On the dem campaign trail, their rallies are sparsely attended and the cameras zoom in so you don't see how small the crowd really is, kind of like a WNBA game on ESPN.
