The dum ass at cnn Chuck Todd said that the reason the dems are losing on all fronts is that the right has a better propaganda machine.
That is laughable as he failed to mention that the left controls the media, Hollywood, our colleges and the racist card among other things in this country and they still are getting their butts kicked at every avenue.
No wonder cnn viewership is on a steady decline!

What Did Trump Do Wrong Today
I personally think Trump is obnoxious and foul- mouthed, but I do think he is helping this country.

I would honestly like to know how Trump is helping this country?

Well, for starters, he kept Hilary out of the oval office.

Saw a sound byte of Chuck Todd and others in the media lamenting that the hearing was a disaster. They are so blatantly anti Trump, they act like they are the south and they have lost to the north and are losing their slaves.

How is he helping the country? Well...unemployment is at record lows for some demographics, and is at one of the lowest points overall for recent history. Stock market is up. Wages are on the rise. Over the last few months, illegal immigration has begun to plateau and then decline. He's paid attention to the 'fly over' states that have been neglected for far too long. He's not afraid to speak in plain English about moronic women in Congress who do, indeed, hate the country.
OK, your turn.

I will address each point and add some perspective...I welcome the same from you.
unemployment is at record lows for some demographics, and is at one of the lowest points overall for recent history.
It is indeed. When Trump took office the unemployment rate was 4.7% (very good by any measure) and trending down. The economy had added jobs for 76 straight months, and there were more jobs added in Obama's last two years than Trump's first two. Also, most of these jobs are in the low-wage retail and service industries.
Wages are on the rise.
True. However, the bulk is going to higher end earners.
immigration has begun to plateau and then decline.
Immigration along our southern border has been on the decline for 10 years. There's more leaving than coming in.
He's paid attention to the 'fly over' states that have been neglected for far too long.
I'm not really sure what you mean by this, but if you talk to the farmers they're not happy at all. They've basically been put on the government teat in order to survive the trade war with China.
He's not afraid to speak in plain English about moronic women in Congress who do, indeed, hate the country.
I don't agree with those women, nor do I agree with the POTUS telling American citizens to go back where they came from.
Stock market is up.
It's on fire! It seems like the market is setting records every few weeks. The problem is that it is built on debt. It is running on a sugar high brought on by the tax cuts that stimulated a market that didn't need stimulating...corporations were raking in record profits before the tax cuts.
As a result, government revenues are down at a time when they should be at their highest and paying down the national debt.
The economy, though very good, scares the hell out of me...it's running too hot, too fast.

A very reasoned response. Thank you, MM.
But wage inequality is not new to Trump. It accelerated under the watchful socialist eye of Obama:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/obama-claims-inequality-falling-even-as-income-inequality-soars
It is a 'feature' of a capitalist society that as capital accrues to the top, the wealth gap only increases with time. It is also 'feature' of a meritocratic job market that those with in-demand (and rare) skillsets will earn ever higher salaries, while those with more common (or no) skills will see their pay languish.
I, for one do not want to abandon either capitalism nor meritocracy. I agree that social tensions are only going to increase as more and more attention is given to the increasing gap, but the fix may be worse than the problem.

Of course I knew the meaning of “meritocracy” but for those who might not.
noun government or the holding of power by people selected on the basis of their ability. "progress towards meritocracy was slow" a society governed by meritocracy. plural noun: meritocracies "Britain is a meritocracy, and everyone with skill and imagination may aspire to reach the highest level" a ruling or influential class of educated or skilled people. "the relentless advance of the meritocracy"

True...not blaming Trump for anything...context is important, however.

Since we are all equals here, not sure who you think is "sucking up" to whom. From Tiptree's TCD Lexicon (c 2019):
Sucking up v. To carefully act and choose words with the intention of pleasing or impressing someone considered of higher rank. Often used in the context of a job ("Alex was sucking up to the boss again") or other power-based situations.

But it does have "Cat" in the name. Maybe you are a long lost brother or distant relative.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Yeah, you say that, but you're the only one that gets to give gold stars for using big words.
Which reminds me, hc is cheating. Did you know that? I ain't got it proved yet, but I'm close. I started to write you a pm letter to give you a heads up, but figured that would be snitching. Being I was raised better than that I called it off. Just keep an on him is all I can say right now.
BTW, just in case you ain't caught it yet...hc is short for handycat...I thought it up myself...pretty cool I think.
