President Trump has already sent his condolences to Brian Kelly, both the football and basketball programs, the staff and the entire student body. My sources tell me Air ForceOne will be on the way to Indiana tomorrow for the President to view this tradegy first hand. There is concern that Notre Dame Indiana does not have an airfield large enough to accommodate Air Force One.

As a side note, I wanted to post this on Facebbook but my wife would not allow it as I would offend people. I told her I was going to post it on the Cats Domain. She said she didn't give a sh*t who I offended on this board.

So, there's that.

I thought I should clear something up. As much as I dislike Trump, he is still my president and I will vote for him in 2020. Especially if you consider the field likely to run against him.

I just have wierd thoughts at times that I have difficulty keeping to myself. At least that's what my wife tells me.

Having met Mrs. Handy, and having thoroughly bored her with political talk, I can almost assure you she continued that sentence with "but make SURE you offend that Tiptree guy". [Smile]

But all kidding aside, that was a horrible looking fire. I would hate to lose world treasure like that. Any updates on if the fire was contained?

Just now, at 11:08 eastern, FNC is reporting that the fire is out and all art work was saved, as well as the crown of thorns and all consecrated hosts. Great news indeed.

Yes. It would be a terrible thing to lose the crown of thorns as the world prepares for Easter!

My co-worker asked me if we needed to take up money. I asked him what we were taking up money for. he said," Well, Quasimodo is going to have to find another place to live after his home burned to the ground!"

It is a sad day. I'm sure I'll never see the lights of Paris in my lifetime, but still you take a building with that much history and beauty. You can rebuild it, but it's never the same!
