I know I am biased, but I am almost 84, and I'm pretty sure that was the best State of the Union address I have heard. Masterful use of guests, war heroes, holocaust survivor, cancer surviving little girl, the works. I will most definitely vote for Mister Trump in 2020.

I too thought he gave an excellent SOTU address. I thought there was a couple of things he could have left out but overall I was pleased.

I make no secret or apologies for my dislike of the man. In spite of this, in all likelihood I will vote for him in the next election. Unlike most on here, I would have no problem voting for a Democrat if they were moderate and qualified rather than vote Trump. IMO, no such animal exists. I think there are several Republicans that are qualified but I can't see any of them beating Trump in the primary.

Trump won and upset the apple cart that establishment has counted on to keep things going the way they are.

He is the most honest President in my lifetime. I do think he ran for President because he saw this country going to hell and that it needed saving. Had Trump not followed through on any of his promises and just got the the two conservatives named to the Supreme court, that by itself, is a huge accomplishment and insures that constitution will be in good hands for many years to come.

If only RBG would do this country a favor and pass on already, she could be replaced by a conservative female.

Trump's administration is also naming a ton of conservative judges to the lower courts. I fully expect him to be reelected and further fill upper echelon of the court system with conservative judges.

It is way past time that a business man was elected President. Trump jump started the economy and has seen a spike manufacturing, because he lowered the oppressive corporate tax rate and has renegotiated one sided trade deals that past administrations had settled for.

The way the media is so openly against everything that the Trump administration does and misconstrues the facts to propagate their own agenda of propaganda is only uniting the Trump base to keep him in office. The "Fake News" label that he gave the press was brilliant.

There are some that hate Trump simply because he responds to those that spin tales and lies about him and his administration and he calls them out.

Obama was a terrible President. He killed the economy and told the nation that the jobs were never coming back. He was a globalist, putting the interest of others, before the best interest of the US. Obamacare was a trillion dollar budget buster that was charity for the poor and a tax on the middle class. Do I need to remind anyone that he is the most racist President in the modern era and the most anti law enforcement POTUS of all time.

A patriot doesn't have to do drugs to see the obvious.

How can anyone be a democrat in today's times?

Does anyone think that JFK would be a democrat if he were to come back and see what the party has become?

Democrat politicians stand up and cheer after passing a law allowing the killing of babies up to nine months in the womb.

Democrat politicians fight for the rights of illegal aliens and fight against national sovereignty and against protecting our borders from illegal aliens, drug and human trafficking.

The democrat party nominate Hillary who colluded with the Russians, selling uranium to the enemy and destroyed evidence on her hard drives and electronic devices, when it came out that she was using an unsecured server.

The Obama administration has tainted the FBI and the DOJ. Those that are corrupted have not yet been brought to justice. Patriots can only hope.

Watergate was a game of hop scotch compared to the current coup that is still ongoing and supported by the media. The spying on the Trump campaingn and after he won the election using FISA warrants that were illegally obtained through misrepresenting evidence, is nothing short of treason.

The special investigation should never have been started. All he has done is bankrupt a few people, including a US General, and prosecute them for BS. There is no substance. It is just a cover up to keep the the real criminals from facing their crimes.

Roger Stone has already been bankrupted. CNN was invited to film the Gestapo bust of an enemy of the democrats? They used a SWAT team to arrest a 70 plus year old man who is accused of being on the wrong side of politics?

Will the real criminals ever go down for their crimes? If the DOJ and the FBI don't get cleaned out, I don't see how those involved in the coup will ever be brought to justice.

And not one of them has a damn thing to with the made up conspiracy of collusion with Russia.

In Manafort's case, he had already been investigated a long time ago and cleared. They went back and brought up charges on things that nobody else ever gets charged for, to see if he he will be a false witness against the POTUS.

The real criminals involved in the coup that are in the FBI, the DOJ, the Obama Administration, the House, and the Senate have not been charged.

One of the culprits, McCain died before being brought to justice. I would have rather seen him be put on trial. It would have been a good thing to see.

The dossier was made up and floated out to the media as being verified. The FISA warrants were issued on the basis of the dossier being factual, when it wasn't. Anyone being charged and convicted for a crime (ie) lying to congress that is associated with this investigation, should have have their convictions over turned.

Real collusion, not a made up one, exists with Hillary selling uranium to the Russians. Real collusion, not a made up one, exists when Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch on a tarmac and discussed how to keep Hillary from being indicted for her crimes.

Real obstruction of justice, no a manufactured one, exist with Hillary destroying her hard drive and elctronic devices with hammers and bleach.

This is the familiar scenario of when a cheater blames their spouse or lover for cheating all the time, to keep their partner from detecting their crimes.

The DOJ and the FBI have been with holding evidence for two years.

If I were in charge, I would suspend the top echelon of the FBI and the DOJ, declassify the evidence, and release it to the public.

I do believe their hope is that a democrat will be elected in the next term and all they have to do is stall for two more years, so it gets swept under the rug.

Let's say Russia tried to influence the election.
Well then, The Democrats influenced the election more than Russia by putting Hilary as their candidate. Every media outlet influenced the election more than Russia, and they haven't really stopped. Every CEO in America tried to influence the election. Heck, the company I work for actually has a political department - they send emails to employees several times a year trying to get donations. Take a guess at what this department is trying to do.

Who really cares about Russia? Ten years after the Don is out of office, the Democrats will still be crying about this. It's getting past the point of comedy to downright pathetic.

I doubt that Mr. Netanyahu was very happy when Mr. Obama meddled it his election either. And by the way, collusion is not a crime, unless I am mistaken.

This is nothing but treason by the Obama administration, members of the FBI, members of the DOJ, and certain members of Congress. If the dirtiest prosecutor in the country can’t find anything in two years, you know there is nothing there. The reason why nothing has been found because it was all made up in the first place. The is treason. This can not be played off as dirty politics. They need to be prosecuted.

So did Russia succeed, or were the American people just smart enough to not vote for Hilary?

It must be Russia succeeded because almost 3 million more American people voted for Hillary than Trump.

This is all one huge red herring. Russia meddles in every election, and they are getting much better at it in the age of social media. They have been actively meddling in European elections for a long, long time, mostly by sponsoring communist/socialist parties and fringe groups. The US, with its two-party system, was not so vulnerable...until now. Social media manipulation gave Russia immense success here that had eluded them previously.

The truth is that the Russians will try to sow discord and influence our elections from now on. They have found great success.

Me, I am more concerned about the sickening "green New Deal" just released. THAT is a communist manifesto delivered and endorsed by the democrat party. Yowsa!

There needs to be a nationwide voter registry, where illegals and dead people get weeded out.

California is one of those states that gives illegals a drivers license and lets them vote.

As for sowing discord and dividing America, nobody does a better job than Soros, funding BLM, Antifa, pay for hire protestors, and directing the media to help advance his socilalist agenda.

Soros is 1000 times more dangerous than Russia and China put together.

Re the old Marxist / Democrat new green deal:

That is the bat **** craziest thing I have ever heard. If the Dems don’t lose have their base on this retarded socialist platform along with killing babies in the womb at 9 months, then it will be safe to say that America has turned into a Godless state that is headed for ruin. There is no way in hell that any sane person can back that type of agenda.

2 main points in the Meuller investigation:

1. The FISA warrants were illegally obtained. The opposition research was compiled as a hit piece against a political enemy and can not be verified. Those who applied for the warrants had to swear that their evidence presented to the judge was verified to be true and factual.

Those who were involved in spying on Trump and other US citizens under false pretenses, still haven't been charged and prosecuted.

The investigation should never have been started, in the first place, which is why any of the ancillary indictments and prosecutions should be thrown out.

2. This investigation has been ongoing for two years, and Meuller has found nothing related to what he is supposed to be searching for. Why is that? Because it was made up in the first place.

It is also telling that anytime a false rumor is floated out there, as in the case with the falsehood that Buzzfeed put out, CNN and all the other media outlets start shouting hallelujah from the roof tops and celebrating like they won the lottery. This last time, Meuller had to make a public statement that the rumor was false and you could see the disappointment in their eyes and hear it in their voices. Buzzfeed has a bad reputation and instead of confirming the rumor, the national media runs the story full bore without validation? Why? It is obvious that they feel they can say and do anything with impunity, no matter if it is a lie.

Freedom of the press?

this country has propagandist hiding behind "Freedom of the press"

What we need is legislation that that regulates them to aptly name what they are doing.

If they are going to report the nes without any commentary, they should be allowed to call it a news show.

If it is propaganda, it should be clearly labeled as an opinion piece. In the case with 99% of what is put out there for public consumption, it should be labeled propaganda.

There is a pic on the internet with Trump saying that he loves puppies and below is a CNN reporter announcing that Trump hates kittens. Yeah it is meant to be a joke, but the sad thing is that it accurately depicts what the media has become in this country.
