If Trump can not get 24B from congress to build the wall then
how did Obama get 150B (in cash) to give Iran to complete the nuclear (secret) deal?
anyone ever wonder?

He got it from Iran, it was their money to begin with...frozen assets as part of economic sanctions. I think only about $2 billion was in cash..and yes it was an incentive to get Iran to sign the nuclear agreement...

I'm sorta sitting on a fence here. The money was indeed paid to the US for military equipment by the Shah, before he was deposed by the Islamists. It was indeed frozen as part of the sanctions, because there was no way we were going to turn the equipment OR the money over to the new regime. It was not THEIR money. It probably did indeed belong to the PEOPLE, but there is no way it was returned to them. The Mullahs and Ayatollahs will spend it funding more terror, IMO.

Exactly Norm that is what they do and that is one reason it was such a bad deal! The Obama regime was loaded with snakes!
I was there a cpl times before the current regime in Iran and it was nice there then. A western country if u will...
p.s. I believe it was 150b in cash not 2b

This was $400M paid to the US for military equipment that was not delivered because, as you said, the Shah was overthrown. Thirty years of accumulated interest (approx. $1.3B) raised the amount to approx. $1.8B. This was the amount paid in cash and is separate from the frozen assets due to Iran's nuclear program.

Norm 1.8B was the "cash" that was sneaked back into Iran by the Obama administration PLUS another 150B in unfrozen assess which is "CASH" as far as Iran and the world is concerned regardless of other views....
