Topic: I don't get it.

President Trump has made such a big deal in the past about how past presidents have telegraphed their strategy to our foes. He has done this time and time again and said it's something he will never do.
Last week he said he would be pulling troops out of Syria. Yesterday he said he will be sending missiles into Syria and daring Russia to shoot them down. Can someone explain this to me? Is it just his policy to say something that makes sense and then do the opposite?

That could well be true. Russia's UN ambassador told Nikki Haley that if we go through with the attack, they would shoot down our cruise missiles AND destroy the platforms that launched them. If the past is any guide, those 'platforms' would be US Navy ships in the Med. The Russians recently sent a few more ships to that area, so it is not necessarily an empty threat.
If they DO attack US warships, the sh!t will most DEFINITELY hit the fan.

I, for one, would like to see the US protect Israel and to hell with the other sand lot countries over there.
The US has long policed those turd countries for free. I am not a fan of taking over countries ad establishing fake regimes. It never works out.
Not a fan of bribing countries to keep them in line. It never works out.
Not a fan of nuclear treaties. Not worth the paper it is written on. Never works out.
Not a fan of the UN. Should kick them out of the US and put them in some 3rd world african crap hole. The UN is a damn joke. Might as well kick them out of the US and have less spies inside our borders.
Not a fan of giving any subsidy to any outside country. They never appreciate it. The US should take care if its veterans first, countrymen second, and then spend what is left on kicking out the illegals.
Any military force to help another country should come at a price for the one the US is helping.
As far as I am concerned, let them kill each other by any means they choose. I could care less.
