Wheeler had no business being on the floor. On defense, he is a liablity. On offense, nobody even bothers to guard him. We are playing 4-on-5 when he is in the game.

We shot 22 FTs to their 10 and it was 11 fouls on them to our 4 until we started fouling. Unfortunately it wasn't the refs. It was not knowing how the heck to defend picks, poor shooting, and no adjustments defensively from Cal. This was just a reality check game. Win streak was nice, but we are not a threat for any kind of championship.

Even in the win streak you could still see the lack of quality coaching in game. Yeah we won, and he did put some new offensive mvt in, but still no adjustments to cover our defensive weakness, and this game he goes back to playing Wheeler alot. Everything is clogged in the lane when he is in. I'm sure Thiero will transfer. I wouldn't blame him. And how does a college team not know how to defend picks? Maybe try trapping the ball on every pick, or something different. We just switch, drop, and give up open shot after open shot.

Why didn't he play Any zone ? Plays a good Coach and gets beat again. Back to DVR on the KY games again !! You can have FUN in the locker room after you win the game . Talking to them like their a Pee Wee team . Mercy ! Mercy !!

Cal just ain't a great coach. Once again no adjustments to anything the other team is doing. He never does anything different to try to stop the other team. He just rolls out the same plan every game. We are seriously the easiest team in America to prepare for. Maybe he is just saving a zone, or changing defenses out of timeouts, for the championship game because he knows the other team would never see it coming:) It would be the element of surprise for sure.

The SEC/Big 12 challenge just shows why we win and lose. For all the hoopla about the SEC getting 7 teams in the tourney, you may want to think that over a little more. About us winning 4 in a row against the SEC, that streak don't look so positive now that the SEC took a beating in the challenge. Saturday won't be our last regular season loss. Good chance we'll have double digit losses before the SEC tourney.
