Imagine if he let them just keep playing and didn't run clock until 2 minutes or so? Just trusted them to take good shots, which they have done all night. We'd break 80.

And another shot clock violation. Way to go Cal. Suck all the enjoyment out of the last 6 minutes. I still enjoy the win, but it sucks to watch hiw he makes them play so early.

But, there is no doubt that the end of games Cal just deflates his offense. NOT A FAN.

I think we have the Under 5 offense. Only take a shot when clock is under 5 seconds in the last 6 minutes. .

It was great to watch fie the majority of it. Great passing, movement, and shooting. But then Cal plays Cal ball and we score 8 points in the last 9 minutes. He will cost us some games if he does that and we don't have a big enough lead.
But kudos to him for the lineups and the movement on offense. Wheeler played well also. Like seeing him play like 15- 20 minutes max.

I think this was a very, very good win. It's not easy to go into Vandy and whip them like we did. They aren't that bad of a team. If they didn't have that #23 guy (who was 7-22 coming into this game) making unbelievable 3-pointers, we would've beat them by 25. This win has convinced me that we are back!
CMD, you are correct - the Kansas game will be a great gauge as to how good we are. I hate the fact that Kansas is on a 3-game losing street (no, I don't really hate that) because now they are a desparate team. I just hope Cal can keep the "most efficient lineup in college basketball" on the court for longer periods of time than he has been.

We definitely don't want to start the Kansas game like we have started so many games. If we do the hole may be so deep we can't climb out of it. And Oscar better start being more careful in the beginning of games or he will be riding the bench and we will be hurting in the paint. The other three bodies we have can't come close to providing the needed help when Oscar is on the bench.

Oscar gets away with his arm on the opposing team backs a lot. In the game against Vandy he was lucky that the ref's weren't calling it super close.

RLT, I have always thought that Oscar gets away with quite a few over-the-back calls. Obviously it's hard to tell on TV so I could be dead wrong here, but it sure looks like it to me.
