I told my wife before any brackets were revealed that UK would play Murray in the second game. I knew they would do that. Of course I’ll pull for the wildcats but I was really looking forward to cheer for the Racers for more than one game. We better not over look them. Overall, I like our chances in or bracket. A lot.
Absolutely no way does the the Big Ten deserve 9 teams in. I watch a lot of Big Ten games and that is just BS. [ 03-13-2022, 07:26 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]

We better not overlook St. Peter's. Just because we don't know a whole lot about them doesn't mean they didn't qualify to be there!

Dick Vitale is picking KY to cut down the nets in New Orleans after beating Iowa in the finals!
I'll take that any day! But let me warn anyone who faces Iowa. They are a very scrappy team. They are 100% hustle for 40 minutes! Purdue had them outsized this afternoon, but they didn't have them out hearted. If there is such a word!

Purdue would be my guess to be our third opponent, then Baylor. And, should we get to the final four, we will likely face Gonzaga. It sure doesn't get any easier.
I sure hope we claw our way to the final four. I have tickets.

I think this has been the best bracket we've had in many a year. Just hope our shooting holds out till we make it to the final 8. From there it is a crap shoot.

If history repeats itself, the Big 10 will have maybe one team in the sweet 16. Never drink the Big 10 kool-aid!

I also have IOWA in the Final Four. I think they are a really solid team. I believe Arizona will be too much for them, but I do think they take out Kansas and Auburn to get to the Final Four. Purdue worries me more than anyone else in the Tourney. That is one team I was telling my son I didn't want to face in our bracket. Sweet 16 here we go!! Not looking ahead though. Every game is important.

It all depends on which UK team shows up.if they play like they did against UNC,TENN. ( the first game) or Kansas, we win going away. If they play like they've played the last three weeks it's over by the sweet sixteen.
