Another domino has fallen in what the future of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball roster will look like next season, as Olivier Sarr has declared he will be entering the NBA Draft.
Sarr, a senior from Bordeaux (France), will be leaving Lexington after one season in the program after transferring in from Wake Forest.
This season, he averaged 10.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He shot 47 percent from the field, and 46.2 from three on limited attempts.

Really no big loss. To me he wasn't that good.

No gigantic loss. Expected. Next comes Mintz. He could decide to stay one more year but he may see the overloaded transfer pool and UK's desire to get more than their feet a little wet.

He was not used in such a way as to maximize his strengths until late in the season. Cal sees "seven footer" and thinks "KAT". But Sarr was a classic Euro-style big man.
Jackson should have been the inside hoss, and Sarr should have been out playing the pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop with the guards.

I really hope Mintz stays. He played solid, and when asked to finally take over as PG, the whole team played better.
Let the transfers come. He is the "elder transfer".
