Man, we need a top-tier point guard. Askew was a net negative today. Too many turnovers, terrible shooting, poor decisions, and no court vision.

On a positive note, I love the continued offensive improvement in Jackson. He is aggressive and effective on the dribble.

On another negative note, we have too many players with weak hands. Bobbling the ball, losing it in traffic... that hurts.

Our half-court offense just sucked in the second half. Nobody moved, nobody cut... we just took our spots and passed the ball. Florida played great defense, but some of that was because we played terrible offense.

The good news? This loss doesn't matter one whit. We STILL have only one path into the NCAA tournament, and that is by winning the SEC championship.

I haven't watched a single second since the Tennessee game on Feb 6th, but that sounds like the same Askew to me, sounds like the same pathetic offense, and sounds like the same "weak" players on the team (i.e. bump them and the ball becomes a hot potato).

Glad I stopped wasting my time three weeks ago. LOL.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Turn out the lights .......... the parties over. And it looks like the season is also over, finally. We played almost 10 good minutes to start the game and then we couldn't hit the water if we were in a leaky rowboat. There are 2 musts to win a ball game:

1. you must make baskets
2. you must outscore the opponent.

We have done a poor job of that for most games this season. It doesn't matter what we do next week, win 1 or 2 or 3 games. It is still over. We can't win the SEC tourney and we'll be lucky to win more than 1 game.
