Over the last week, there’s been a lot of buzz that Kentucky could land West Virginia transfer Oscar Tshiebwe, who is in the transfer portal and has the Cats among his four finalists.
On Saturday, Stadium writer Jeff Goodman reported that Tshiebwe was trending toward Kentucky.
Now, 247 Sports recruiting guru Andrew Slater is also predicting Tshiebwe to finally become a Wildcat.
Tshiebwe, a former five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American in the Class of 2019, originally committed to West Virginia over Kentucky. But after a very promising freshman season, Tshiebwe got off to a rough start this season before opting to enter the portal. NC State, Miami and Illinois are also in the hunt for the man ESPN ranked 10th among all college basketball players coming into the 2020-21 season.
