The Kentucky Wildcats are working hard as they prepare for the upcoming college basketball season that officially tips off in less than a month.

However, the preseason hasn’t been without injury, as B.J. Boston and Keion Brooks Jr. have dealt with recent injuries, while Dontaie Allen didn’t play at all last year while recovering from a torn ACL among other injuries.

As the season quickly approaches, Maggie Davis of BBN Tonight spoke with Boston, Brooks, and Allen about their injuries. We have heard others give updates on the leg injury that Brooks is dealing with. But this time, we heard an update from Brooks himself.

“I’m feeling good,” Brooks said. “I’m getting treatment every day for my injury. We’re taking it day by day. I’m still a part of practice. I’m still around my teammates, encouraging, cheering them on, and when it’s time to step back out there, I’ll be ready to go.”

In addition, Brooks’ father told Kyle Tucker that it’s just a minor calf injury.
