The Kentucky Wildcats are once again racking up the SEC’s postseason awards.
On Tuesday, the league coaches named Immanuel Quickley SEC Player of the Year, while John Calipari was named SEC Coach of the Year. Quickley and Nick Richards were First-Team All-SEC picks as well.
In addition, Tyrese Maxey was a Second-Team All-SEC selection while also making the All-Freshman Team.
Finally, Richards and Ashton Hagans both made the SEC All-Defensive Team.
Quickley is the ninth players in program history to win the coaches’ SEC Player of the Year award and the fifth in 11 seasons under Calipari, who won his fourth SEC Coach of the Year award in Lexington.
With four players and a coach totaling eight SEC honors, UK won more conference awards than any other school.

I am surprised that Hagans was not all-SEC, but other than that, a nice haul.

I'll have to say that Hagans cut his own throat. He was headed for All SEC until the late season failure just like last year. Did he have the NBA on his mind too much again??? Who knows?? Does this mean he will have to return for a THIRD SEASON?? Could be ![[Confused]](confused.gif)
