Think we all realize that this team, right now, is not that good. If EJ, Brooks and Whitney could make some improvements and add a some quality minutes we could be back in the Top 10 in March and maybe get a 3 or 4 seed in the NCAA.
I think this team has a chance this Saturday to make another turnaround. To me, this game against the Hogs at their place is huge. We will find out a lot about the heart/desire/will of this team.

I agree the Saturday game is going to show if this team has the desire to end the season strong.

Desire is not the issue. Execution and coaching adjustments are what is needed. Turnovers and bad 3’s by Hagans need to improve, and Whitney and Brooks need to quit experimenting with the 3-point shots. As far as coaching, Cal needs to play zone when it’s called for. We know that ain’t happening, though.

Someone had mentioned USC making adjustments; well why didn't our Cats. I don't understand how you are in the process of blowing a 14 point lead and you don't try anything different. Adjustments is one thing that our team generally does not do that well. Just stick with what we do and hope it works out. It works more than not, but it sure would be nice to make those adjustments when they are needed.
