Box Score

Turnovers, missed free throws and getting out rebounded in the second half were huge in our losing this game.

Ashton Hagans, in my opinion, might be the weakest point guard we have had at UK under Cal other than the one from the 2013 NIT team. Hagans is no offensive threat and is too slow for fast guards like Auburn have.

Cal did a marvelous job of winning 30 games with this team.

I felt he ran everything through PJ Washington the second half which was a huge mistake. Reid Travis only got 5 shots. Washington and Travis played the entire second half, looked like Coach forgot he had a bench. Oh well, maybe next year. This team actually got farther in the tournament than I thought they would. BUT, they should have beaten Auburn today.

Hagans with 7 turnovers and Washington with 5 really hurt also. This was not a good passing or ball handling team all year.

Another good box score from UK Athletics:

They say no technical fouls. Didn't Cal have one?

No Norm, they stopped the game to give him a coach's box warning. Had it been Doug Shows, he would have gotten one.

We basically got outhustled in the second half. We weren't getting to the 50/50 balls, AU was also getting too many 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities in the 2nd half!
