Refs are just as terrible in the Tech-Gonzaga game. This time they are really giving Tech the advantage. Some really outrageous calls in the last couple of minutes, all going Tech's way.

Tech wins in a really, really tight game. Despite the assist by the refs, I am happy with the win.

Both teams were tough as nails, and both can score from everywhere on the court. I am really impressed with Chris Beard, Tech's coach, and Mark Few, Gonzaga's coach. Both were cool under pressure the whole way.

Some really, really great games in these regionals!

Guess who the ref was that let the TT player land out of bounds after the block, and throw it back into his teammate? You got it, John Freakin Higgins. How is he still allowed to ref in the tournament.

He was literally standing 4 feet away from the play, staring right at it. Unbelievable that these guys are allowed to be so bad so much.

If a ref blew a call that defeated dook, I could easily overlook it.

I watched the game and did not feel the officials had anything to do with the outcome. I thought it was a fairly consistently called game. To me the officials gave neither team any advantage with the way they called the TT/Gonzaga game. TT lead the nation in total defense, they are a very good team, better than Gonzaga. Gonzaga play in a very weak league that does not prepare them for the NCAA tournament.
