Yes Herro's three was big, but P.J.'s block was huge.
Bought back memories of another huge block, maybe not in a game as important as this one, but nonetheless important in UK history.....back in December of 2011, Rupp Arena, #1 UK vs. #5 UNC, Anthony Davis block on Hanson to seal the victory.

I just saw the box score, PJ had 16 pts. Second highest behind Herro. I'm not buying that injury, there is no way you can go from a cast on a scooter to be a game star. Wonder if that was a hoax. Anyway I'll take it!

He only played 26 minutes. I AM buying the injury. No way would he have sat out those first two games.

Especially when the reports states that the doctors said he can't hurt the foot any further by playing. If we would've lost to Wofford, PJ would probably regret not playing for a very long time.

jerseycat,
That is a good one and it didn't cross my mind. The block I thought about was Jamal Magloire against Standford in the Final Four. He went out and blocked Brevin Knights 3 Point attempt. That is still maybe one of the greatest blocks I have ever seen.
Actually, I can only think of one better and that was Tayshaun Prince running Reggie Miller down from behind. That block led them to the NBA Title.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

PJ Washington was a in boot cast last week and he has the game saving block at the end of the game. That was huge. Combine that with the Herro 3, right after and that was a huge turn of events.

According to the post game interview on the court, Washington could only stand to do about 15 minutes of shoot around yesterday because the pain was too great!
