So who do you all see leaving early after this year? In my opinion, Keldon and PJ are the only two who are remotely close to 1st round material, although I don't think either are anywhere near ready to go to the NBA. It's inevitable that we lose a few freshman - just curious whet everyone else thinks.

Of the freshmen, Kelden Johnson and Tyler Herro will probably leave, even though they have a huge learning curve at the college level to be ready by the end of this season. PJ will probably go in the second round. If Hagans keeps improving like he has over the past few games, he too could leave. This is not one of Cal's most talented teams. And of course Travis will be gone because his college eligibility will be up.
We could be loaded at the guard position next year if Hagans and Quickley stay, I just hope we get some quality size inside and a rim protector, something this years team desperately needs. [ 01-09-2019, 03:10 PM: Message edited by: SCWC ]

I read an article a couple of days ago that can't find now. If memory serves me correct, I believe they had two cats in the first round. Johnson around 9 and PJ very late first round. Both surprised me that they were 1st round. I think they projected Herro and one other in the 2nd round.
These are not my predictions as I think some should consider returning to high school. I've been on the bandwagon, off the bandwagon, on again and back off. I reserve the right to change my mind again.

I'm not really sure any of our current players are ready for the next level. Grant it, there's a couple of them that with a few years of college ball will be ready . I'm not certain that Herro is ready for the next level! He's going to have to learn to guard the dribble better!

These projections are based on what they think they will do the rest of the year. I don't think that they will be as good as these guys think they will b e. Johnson is the only one I see deserving to leave after one.

Johnson is a lottery pick easily. He can go into the NBA and play from day 1.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
