The 2018-19 Kentucky Wildcats have a chance to be a special team.
Much of that is due to the wealth of talent this team has from all 10 of their scholarship players, eight of which were a five-star recruit in at least one recruiting service.
And for once, it also includes a great amount of experience, highlighted by fifth-year senior Reid Travis to go with sophomores Nick Richards, Quade Green and PJ Washington.
But what continues to impress John Calipari with this team is their drive to become the best version of themselves. Throughout the offseason, we’ve heard about how hard guys are going at it in the gym and weight room, and it sounds like they won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
On Saturday, the Cats completed Day 1 of their 10-day practice stint before heading to the Bahamas. Once again, Calipari could not help but talk about the work ethic and toughness of this team.
