From the Cats Pause:

From the moment the brackets were revealed on Selection Sunday, 12th-seeded Davidson has become a popular upset pick over (5) Kentucky. The Wildcats (21-11) punched their ticket to the big dance by winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament with a 58-57 win over Rhode Island over the weekend. Davidson is a veteran club who isn't going to beat themselves. In addition to being one of the nation's top 3-point shooting shooting teams, the Wildcats rank: – first nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.76) – second in turnovers per game (9.6) – third in free throw percentage (79.7) – seventh in fewest fouls per game (15) Despite Kentucky having won seven of its last eight games, including its fourth straight tournament title in a league that received eight NCAA Tournament bids, ESPN's BPI gives Davidson the best odds of any 12-seed to pull a first round upset.

Screw Davidson. They better make about 20 threes if they want a chance to knock us off.

With how hot Collin Sexton was, very view analysts gave us a chance against Alabama and we shut them down. Then they said we probably don't have much of a chance to beat Tennessee.

It's kentucky vs's the world! I like being the underdog, seems like this team plays better when nobody believes in them.

Will be interesting to see the Vegas line tomorrow, for the game. Would think that the spread would grow to at least 10 or more with Davidson being the dog.

The odds this morning are favoring the Cats by 5.5 pts, down a half point from the opening line the other day. We could have our hands full with Davidson, they make at least 10 three point shots per game and play at an extremely slow tempo, the two things that seem to bother our team. Every starter is subject to shoot the three point shot. If we play like we did in the SEC tourney, we should have no trouble beating them.
