They did receive 8 votes which would rank them about number 37 overall. Many SEC teams now get more AP votes than the Cats and they probably deserve it.

And Duke ranked 12th and a 2 seed! go figure

I only see 2 SEC teams fighting for a top 5 seed in the tourney now, AU and TN. Then comes FL and A&M fighting for a 6 or 7 seed. AL, UK and MO are the 5th-7th picks from the SEC for a slot in the NCAA. They may make it if they finish the season good but the chances of all 3 of them making I think is slim. I'm still looking for 5 teams to make it depending on how they finish these last 6 conference games.
