I’m glad I chose to watch the Warriors and Spurs last night. It sounds as though it was much of the same: getting beat down the floor, unforced turnovers, missed shots, no defensive rotations, etc.
I’ll just delete it from the DVR.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Allowing 59 points in the second half pretty much tells the story.

Yeah, I noticed that from the box score that Ray posted. Sounds like it was a dunk fest for them the second half.

It pretty much was a dunk fest and 3-point fest for TAM for the first 10 minutes of the second half. They actually banked-in two of the 3's not intentionally. Aside from the wide open looks from three, TAM was beating the Cats down the floor and no one on our team, especially Knox, would dare get in their way. It was as they say, "Matador defense". If Knox had the name Willis on his back, he would have been jerked so fast his head would have been spinning. LOL
I personally think Cal doesn't know what else to try with this bunch.

They outscored us 17 to 2 during the first four minutes of the second half and there was never any doubt after that who was going to win the game. Pure misery for me but I had to stay with it till the very end.

I agree with that statement. At some point Cal has to realize that this team is as good as they're going to be. There's no way anyone should expect a starting lineup of five freshman to be very good. And when none of them shoot the ball very well or know how to play inside versus experienced players, that just makes things even worse. Cal says he'll take talent over experience any time. Well if that's the case then he needs to be able to recruit better talent with his revolving door philosophy.

After reading Cal's comments after the game, he too, is at a loss. I am sure he is banging his head against the wall, trying to think of what he needs to do to get through to these kids.
