A total team loss but the last two turnovers by Alexander actually cost the team the game. Where was he going with the ball????? Poor basketball IQ by this entire team.

What the heck Alexander. What is he thinking and why did we not get a timeout. Hey Cal, when your team is as young as you keep telling everybody maybe you need a timeout there. We have given this freaking game away. Again!

Shai was doing what he was supposed to do... drive and look for a dish. The other four guys were just content to watch.
That is why we got two consecutive turnovers. I don't blame Shai. I blame his teammates.

This team are offensively challenged, very offensively challenged. Tenn knew what Alexander was going to do and put everyone in the lane to stop him.

MH, if he is triple-teamed, two people are open. But nobody moved to give Shai a chance to feed them.
He is supposed to drive the ball. But this is a team game, and the rest of the team just doesn't do their part.

That's good coaching right there by Barnes.
Absolutely ridiculous. We needed this win and this loss is on the team and the coaches. Ultimately it falls on the coach. Poor offensive execution, no offensive strategy from the coaching staff, and once again a whole lot of standing around on offense. Coaches need to get to work and figure out how to put these guys in better situations. We may still struggle some, but it would be better than the crap we are doing now.

Another ugly, ugly game. I really thought this would be a 'finesse' team, back in November. But it is devoid of the talent needed to be that kind of team. So, we get a team that is trying to be "tough" playing against teams that really are tough.

Yes players may be offensively challenged, but the coaches are also offensively challenged. He can't coach an offense if he doesn't have guys that can just beat people off the dribble and finish, or are great shooters. This is a tough year to watch.

Hami is killing this team. Quade sat down with UK up 3. Within 2 minutes we were down 4 and Hami was primarily responsible. This team is real close to cashing it in and Cal knows it. When you lose confidence in shooting it affects every aspect of your game.

UKMan, I totally agree with your post. For Cals offense to work, he has to have guards like Fox and Monk last season, these guards are not of that quality. Tennessee knew who was going to be with the ball in the end, same as the other night when they lost at Missouri, Alexander going into traffic and getting shots blocked or turnovers. Why do we walk the ball down the floor and make sure the other team are set defensively before starting our offense?????

Enterprise, Exactly. And why would Cal put him in when Green had just made a great play, and was playing really well. I just don't get him sometimes. You pull a guy who is playing great and fired up, and you put in a guy who has been on the bench and doesn't give you much of anything. I will add Knox to that mix as well. He is a complete waste if he is not hitting shots. He does absolutely nothing else well. He is the definition of selfish. Only contributes by scoring and doesn't do any little things well.
