After spending 2 years in the D league, Dakari has signed a 2 year guaranteed deal with the OK City Thunder. Congrats to him.

Best of luck to the former Cat. Had he stayed another year, I truly believe UK would be have had another title. He was the missing piece, that season. Kinda funny, because he likely would have showcased himself in the tourney and gotten guaranteed money, instead of having to do 2 years in the D league to get to the show.

In his 2 years in the D league Dakari averaged over 15 points a game, 8 boards and shot 64.4% from the field.

So, if he stayed one more year in Lexington, he would most likely had secured a three year guaranteed contract that is worth much more than the two year deal he is getting now. Regardless of his choices, I hope he successful and has a long career.
