Calipari’s message to Reddish has been mainly focused on how Cal coaches him.
“He hasn’t really mentioned anything about Kentucky,” the player said. “He’s just trying to help me and help the team win. It’s been really fun. Everybody’s just going out and playing super hard — and playing for each other. Any of us could go out there and get 20, 30 points, but it’s a lot of fun seeing everybody play hard for each other.”

He does sound like he is understanding how Cal wants his players to play. Does that mean he is ready to adapt his play to Cal's way? We'll have to wait and see how the next chapter plays out. He is no doubt one of the top five in the class.

Cal started Reddish at the point.
The five-star wing is very high on UK’s recruiting big board for 2018. A big reason being is that John Calipari views Reddish as another ‘positionless’ player that can contribute in a variety of ways.
One of those came Wednesday as Calipari made the surprising decision to start Reddish at point guard. And according to Dick Weis, Reddish did well while making his case for the best high school senior on the roster, which includes Romeo Langford, Immanuel Quickley and Louis King.
