Cal took to twitter this morning to deny the rumor as crazy. Says it did not happen. He said I am the coach at Kentucky and will be for a long time.

This has parallels with the medias stories of the Russia collusion story that dominates the press.
There is no direct quote from anyone. It is an unsubstantiated rumor and shouldn't be reported.
The media has a habit of using "inside sources" who remain anonymous. That is how rumors start and how they get life breathed into them, when they shouldn't even see the light of day in the first place.
